Men’s Wiffleball Tournament

Fella-ship Wiffleball is back! Get your team of 3-5 guys together and come out to compete in the 3rd Annual Wiffleball tournament! Whether you’re a rookie or a pro, you can look forward to a day of fellowship, fun, food, and friendly competition. Sign-up in the lobby!

 

RULES:

• This is a double elimination tournament.
• Each elimination game is 3 innings. An 8-run mercy rule will be enforced after the 2nd inning.
• Teams will be made up for 3-5 players.
• Only 3 players will play in the field at a time.
• All 5 players must hit.
• Each team must have at least 3 pitchers per game. Pitching changes in the middle of an inning are allowed after a pitcher has faced 6 batters.
• There is no baserunning. Imaginary or “ghost” runners will advance as the hitter does.
• 3 strikes is a strikeout. The second foul ball with two strikes counts as an out, and any foul ball that hits the strike zone is a strike.
• A batter walks after 5 balls.
• A pitched ball that hits the batter is a ball. A walk is awarded after 2 pitched balls hit a batter in the same at-bat.
• Sides will change after 3 outs or 6 runs score, whichever comes first.
• Fair or foul balls are called by the defender closest to the play.
• Checked swings are called by the pitcher.
• Additional rules for what qualifies a single, double, triple, or home run will be explained day of tournament.
